IS YOUR MARRIAGE BUILT TO LAST?
Here at Calvary Chapel of the Hudson Valley, our goal is to help you establish good and solid "Christ-centered" marriages and families. The Word tells us, "Unless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Psalm 127:1).
HOW DO YOU DO THAT?
In order to establish a home built by the Master Carpenter, Jesus Christ, you need a personal relationship with Him, and then you lay a solid foundation based upon the practical application of God’s Word and build upon that, step after step. First becoming the child God wants you to be, the man or women God wants you to be, the husband or wife God wants you to be and the parent God wants you to be. As a result, Jesus guarantees that our homes, families and marriages will weather the storms that life can throw at us, that we may come through them enriched with His love, joy, and peace (See Matthew 7:24-27; John 14:27, 16:24, 17:26).

We are offering some exciting ways for you and your marriage to be blessed and also for you to be a blessing!
Calvary Chapel Couples: Meets the third Sunday of every month at 6:30 PM in the Solid Ground Café. A time of fun, fellowship and a message from God’s Word. We also have coffee and something good to eat. Child care is provided. We are looking for willing servants to help with administrative tasks, helping with worship or even providing desserts from time to time. If you think this is something the Lord is calling you to do, drop us a note or give us a call.
Dinners for Six: We are establishing a list of those that would be interested in getting together with other couples at the church to get acquainted, establish friendships, strengthen friendships, and have Christ centered fellowship. We hope to have the first one sometime within the next couple of months. For more information or if you are interested in either attending or hosting a dinner call Sue Dawson 298-1269.
Homebuilders Bible Studies: This is a small group for married couples. Family Life puts out some great materials to facilitate your small group study. If anyone is interested in leading or attending a Homebuilders group call Pastor Barry or Sue Dawson at 298-1269 and a leaders training group will be scheduled.
